MORENÁ means place of origin in the Xingu language. The painter Walde Mar de Andrade e Silva lived with the natives of the Xingu area of the Brazilian rainforest for many years and has painted their world ever since.
Not that long ago, most of humanity live in tribes and clans. These cards help us to re-experience this past. The MORENÁ deck’s 88 picture cards and 22 track cards of footprints lead us on a trip through the jungle and into the lives of a happy people. The warm colours and loving scenes touch us and guide our play.
