Adam Bourgeois

Adam Bourgeois’ book The Power of OH grew out of his experiences with the OH Card groups he led for more than a decade.

Adam lives in Chicago, three blocks from where he was born. As a child, he was bedridden for an extended period, during which time an aunt gave him a Ouija Board to entertain him. Thus began his quest for the Philosopher’s Stone. His adolescent years were spent in a Roman Catholic seminary, but he has since converted to Judaism.

During the 1960s, Adam administered several social programs around the United States. He served as a Cabinet officer under an Illinois governor and on the administrative staff of the mayor of St. Louis. As a tenured Professor at Ohio State University, he taught graduate and undergraduate students. He has also lectured extensively and traveled a great deal, consulting other seekers and teachers along the way.

Adam is a practicing trial lawyer. He’s married and has three adult children.
